CORPS BIBLE STUDIES

THE NEXT SERIES BEGINS

Monday 20th April

7.30pm in the Community Hall.  Everyone welcome.

ALTAR SERVICES - Many thanks to all who gave so generously to our Annual Missionary Appeal for the work of The Salvation Army in our partner countries and territories. The total given thus far is £7967.29.

If you would still like to give to this Appeal, please hand your gift to Corps Treasurer Gwen Whitehouse or Corps Secretary Andrea Ellis.

MISSION DEVELOPMENT PLAN - What an interesting ‘Picture’ evening we had! We are now collating the results of our discussions. Particular thanks to CSM Ian Norman for his work behind the scenes on this project. Watch this space for further details!!

CHRISTIAN AID - A collection will be held outside St Peter’s Church on Saturday 16th May for the work of Christian Aid. If you can volunteer some time between 9am and 3pm to help with this collection, please contact the co-ordinator, Mary Anderson, on 01530 417522. See notice board for more local information or visit www.christianaid.org.uk to find out about the work of Christian Aid around the world.

PIZZA PRAISE PARTY - Some time ago we were delighted to welcome the SACRED DANCERS to WBMH. The good news is that they are joining us again, along with some of the children from their church. The SACRED DANCERS will participate in our meeting on the evening of Sunday 29th March – along with our own singers and musicians. We plan to round off the evening with some good food. Why not join us for the evening – and perhaps bring a friend?

MAILING LIST - There is still time to add names of family members or friends, previously linked to WBMH, who you think would still like to retain their link with the corps fellowship through an occasional ‘mailing’. Please pass relevant contact details to Kevin Pallister.
