YP News at WBMH – 2009

 

Just a note to fill you in on important dates and events for our children and young people.

 

1.YP Annual 31st Jan/ 1st February – If any families would like to meet up at Woollie Park [Sat] for a kick around come and join us at 11am near the top car park [ this is not a “drop your children off” occasion]. Sunday will include the participation of our children and the prize giving-primary in the morning and older young people in the evening meeting. Heather James is leading the day – I am sure we are in for a great day of YP focused worship.

2.Friday 6th February –  6-7.30pm  - Club – bring your friends!

3.Saturday 7th February – Bonkers – 6-8pm at Leicester South Salvation Army, led by Adrian Kemp. A praise party for primary school aged children

4.Friday 6th March – Club

5. 13-15th March – Corps Retreat – Willersley Castle  - with input from Adrian for the young people on the Saturday

6.Friday 3rd April – Club

7.Sunday 26th April – Junior Soldiers Day of Renewal – an opportunity for our young people to consider the promises they have made during the morning meeting.

8.Friday 1st May – Club

9.25-29th May – Junior Camp – Edale, Derbyshire. Four days of fun and worship with Adrian and his team. Cost £135. Please speak to Alison or Adrian direct to book a place.

10.Friday  June 5th – Club

11.27/28th June - YP Anniversary – details to be confirmed.  Working on an idea of a drum workshop plus tea for the Saturday.

12.Friday 3rd July, Friday 7th August and Friday4th September – Club

 

Lots to do and join in with. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any queries about what is going on. The team would like to thank you for understanding and helping us with all the form filling requirements now expected to comply with the safe and sound policies.  We will do our best to keep it as simple as possible.
